After starting fifth, Harvick was a powerhouse in the opening laps, spending much of the first segment of the race in the top-10. The No. 29 GM Goodwrench/Reese's Chevrolet stayed the course until engine trouble began to kick in. Eventually left with only fourth gear, Harvick held on and finished 18th.
